Tim McLoone’s Supper Club Wedding | Kelly + Ryan in Asbury Park, NJ
Intro
Kelly and Ryan’s wedding day at Tim McLoone’s Supper Club in Asbury Park, New Jersey was the kind of day that felt joyful from beginning to end. Not just because everything looked beautiful — although it absolutely did — but because every part of the day felt full of genuine love, kindness, and excitement from the people surrounding them. These are the kinds of weddings that remind you how much the energy of a couple shapes the entire experience, and Kelly and Ryan are simply the kind of people everyone is happy to celebrate.
With getting ready at The Berkeley Oceanfront Hotel, portraits along the Asbury Park boardwalk, and a beachfront ceremony just before sunset, this day had no shortage of incredible backdrops. Between the ocean views, the iconic boardwalk, and one of the most beautiful sunsets you could ask for, the whole area seemed to glow.
The Venue and Setting
A wedding at Tim McLoone’s Supper Club offers something really special for couples planning an Asbury Park wedding or a Jersey Shore wedding. The venue sits right on the boardwalk, with amazing views all around and direct access to some of the best portrait locations in the area. Kelly and Ryan exchanged vows on 5th Avenue Beach in front of Tim McLoone’s, overlooking the ocean at exactly the right time of day — the kind of weather and light you honestly wish you could guarantee for every outdoor wedding.
For portraits, the Asbury Park boardwalk murals added so much variety and personality. If you’re getting married here, they’re absolutely worth using. They give you a completely different visual feel from the beach and ocean views while still keeping everything close and easy.
The Feel of the Day
One of my favorite things about this wedding was how natural and fun everything felt. Kelly and Ryan are the kind of couple who were totally comfortable enjoying the moment without making anything feel overdone, and that always leads to the best kind of images. There was plenty of laughter, great energy from the bridal party, and so many candid moments throughout the day. Even the groom and groomsmen fully committed to a freeze-frame jumping photo — and nailed it.
This wedding was a great example of the kind of coverage I love most: a mix of beautiful portraits, genuine emotion, and a day that still feels relaxed and real in the final gallery.
