Park Loft Wedding in Oceanport, NJ | Andrea + Christopher

Intro

Andrea and Christopher’s wedding at Park Loft in Oceanport, New Jersey was one of those days that felt full of beauty and awe from beginning to end. They are the kind of couple you can’t help but be drawn to — not just because they looked incredible, but because the way they love each other is so genuine and easy to feel when you’re around them.

From Andrea’s pearl-covered gown to the private vow reading they shared together before the ceremony, the whole day felt elegant, emotional, and deeply personal. Even with rain for most of the day, nothing about it felt limited. In fact, it gave us the chance to slow down, lean into the atmosphere of the venue, and create some really beautiful moments throughout the space.

The Venue and Setting

A wedding at Park Loft offers a really unique experience for couples planning an Oceanport wedding, a New Jersey wedding, or even a more design-forward Jersey Shore wedding. The venue has an incredible mix of industrial character and elevated elegance, with architecture and interiors that give you variety almost everywhere you turn. It feels refined and high-end while still having so much visual personality.

One of the best parts of photographing Andrea and Christopher’s day here was how many amazing backdrops the venue offered, especially with the weather keeping everything indoors. The grand stairway, the artsy elevator, the clean lines throughout the reception space — there were so many opportunities to create portraits that felt elevated, stylish, and completely different from one another without ever leaving the venue.

And beyond how beautiful it is, Park Loft also stands out for the overall experience. The food was seriously top notch — the kind of wedding food guests talk about long after the day is over — and the service matched that same level all the way through.

The Feel of the Day

What I loved most about this wedding was the combination of elegance and emotion. Andrea and Christopher clearly have amazing taste, but nothing about the day felt performative. It still felt warm, real, and centered on their connection. Their private vow reading was especially beautiful to document — just the two of them, away from the rest of the day for a moment, sharing something personal before everything officially began.

Because the rain slowed things down a little, we were able to take our time and really make the most of the venue. That gave us space to explore ideas naturally, use some of their favorite spots throughout the property, and create portraits that felt intentional without ever becoming forced. They even brought their dog, Riley, for portraits after the first look, which made the day feel even more personal.

This wedding was such a good reminder that a rainy day does not mean a less beautiful day — especially at a venue like Park Loft, where the design, light, and atmosphere give you so much to work with.
