Do You Need Multiple Locations for Wedding Photos?

Many couples assume they need multiple photo locations to create a beautiful wedding gallery.

The truth is that it is not necessary at all.

A great photographer should be able to create amazing images almost anywhere. Even a single venue can offer plenty of variety when you start looking at different angles, lighting situations, and creative perspectives.

In fact, sometimes trying to squeeze in an extra location can actually add unnecessary stress to the day. Travel time can complicate the timeline and take away time that could be spent enjoying other moments.

That said, if your ceremony and reception are in different places or there is a meaningful location nearby, adding a quick stop for portraits can absolutely be worth considering.

But if everything happens in one place, that is completely fine too. Some of the most beautiful wedding galleries come from working creatively within a single location.
