Is It Worth Doing A Big Wedding Party?
If you’re trying to decide how big your wedding party should be, the answer really comes down to what matters most to you.
I love the idea of a big wedding party. There’s a fun energy that comes with having a lot of your favorite people around you throughout the day. It can make the atmosphere feel exciting, supportive, and full of personality.
At the same time, there is definitely a point where a wedding party can start to feel a little harder to manage.
The bigger the group, the more coordination it takes. Portraits can take a little longer, transportation can get trickier, and sometimes it becomes more about making sure everyone fits into the frame than keeping things simple and relaxed.
That doesn’t mean a large wedding party is a bad idea. If you genuinely have a lot of close friendships and you cannot imagine narrowing it down, then it may absolutely be worth it for you.
But there is usually a bit of a sweet spot where the group still feels fun and meaningful without becoming difficult to coordinate.
At the end of the day, this is one of those decisions that should reflect your relationships and what feels right to you as a couple. If having a bigger group adds joy to the day, go for it. If keeping it smaller feels easier and more intentional, that can be just as beautiful.
