Should You Save Wedding Cards and Letters for After the Wedding?

In a lot of cases, yes — saving your cards, letters, or well wishes for after the wedding can be a really beautiful idea.

Wedding days move fast, and there is already so much emotion packed into those hours. Saving some of those messages for the next day or the days after can be a really nice way to extend that feeling a little longer.

It gives you a chance to slow down, sit with your partner, and really take in all the thoughtful words from the people you love most.

It can also help with something a lot of couples do not expect: post-wedding blues. After so much buildup leading up to the day, it is very common to feel a little emotional once everything is over.

Having those cards or letters to read afterward can help ease that feeling and give you one more meaningful moment to look forward to once the wedding day has passed.

So if you do not feel the need to open everything right away, saving those messages for later is absolutely worth considering.
