Do Bridesmaids Need Matching Getting Ready Outfits?
Not necessarily.
Matching robes or pajamas have become a popular trend for the morning of the wedding, but they’re definitely not required.
The main reason many couples choose them is because they simplify the morning. Everyone already has something to wear while hair and makeup are being done, which removes one small decision from an already busy day.
Matching outfits can also look nice in photos. When the bridal party is coordinated, it helps visually distinguish the bridesmaids from everyone else who might be in the room.
During candid moments or group photos while getting ready, that little bit of coordination can create a clean and cohesive look.
That said, it’s completely optional.
If matching outfits are something you love, they can be a fun addition to the morning. But if you’d rather keep things simple, your photos will still look just as meaningful and authentic.
